Are MacGregor VIP Jack Nicklaus Golf Iron Set 2-Pw a good begginer set?

ive been playing golf since may and need other clubs besides stock so i looked atthese in mybudget should i get them, im 13 too!!!|||No. A beginner usually needs forgiving clubs. VIP Nicklaus's are blades which means they are very tough to hit.

I would go to your local Edwin Watts or Sports Authority and buy the new Adam's irons. They are extremely forgiving and they go a long way. They are fairly expensive though. Taylormade r7 irons are extremely forgiving and they are 200-300 dollars. That is not a bad price for Taylormade irons.|||No, for beginner clubs you want something that you can really practice with and beat on before getting nicer clubs. Something like this would be good:

Good Luck.|||NO...aweful clubs to begin with! Get some used Callaway, Adams, etc, something very forgiving...not VIP Blades!|||The Mac Gregor blades are clubs for people who have a decent golf swing and most likely carry a single digit handicap. They are not for the novice.
